Last updated: May 12, 2026
Feedback welcome

Last updated: May 12, 2026. This statement describes our commitment to digital accessibility, the standards we follow, and how to report a barrier.

Our commitment

Anna's Air, Heat & Plumbing believes that the web should be accessible to all users regardless of ability or technology. We work to ensure our website is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust so that customers can find information about HVAC and plumbing services, request help, and contact us with as few barriers as possible.

Conformance target

We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as the success criteria for this site. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities — including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological conditions.

What we do

Steps we take to support accessibility on this site include:

  • Semantic structure — headings, landmarks (header, nav, main, footer), lists, and form labels are coded so screen readers can navigate the page.
  • Keyboard access — all primary actions (navigation, forms, modal close buttons, the cookie banner) can be reached and operated with the keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Alt text — meaningful images include descriptive alternative text; decorative imagery is hidden from assistive tech.
  • Color and contrast — text and interactive elements aim to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios; we do not rely on color alone to convey meaning.
  • Reduced motion — page animations respect the operating-system prefers-reduced-motion setting where supported.
  • Plain language — service pages, FAQs, and form instructions are written to be clear and concise.

Ongoing efforts

Accessibility is not a one-time project. We test the site with automated tools (axe-core, Lighthouse) and review high-traffic pages manually with keyboard and screen readers. When we ship new features or content, we treat accessibility as part of the definition of done.

Known limitations

Some content embedded from third parties (for example, Google Maps, review widgets, and certain financing application flows) is controlled by those vendors and may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We work with those vendors and look for accessible alternatives where possible.

If you encounter content on this site that is not accessible, please let us know using the contact information below — we will help you get the information you need by another method, and we will use your report to improve the site.

Report a barrier

If you have trouble using any part of annasairandheat.com or need information in a different format, contact us and we will respond promptly:

When reporting an issue, please include the page URL, a brief description of the problem, and (if known) the assistive technology, browser, and device you were using. This helps us reproduce and fix it faster.

Formal complaints

We take accessibility complaints seriously and will work in good faith to resolve them. If you have not received a satisfactory response within a reasonable time, you may wish to consult resources such as the U.S. Department of Justice ADA or the Section 508 programs.
